The Cult live at the Jefferson Theatre on Saturday, May 20!
The Cult formed in 1984 as one of England’s heavy metal revivalists. Their popularity gained momentum and a dedicated following in the mid to late 1980’s as they shifted to a Rock band with singles such as “She Sells Sanctuary,” “Love Removal Machine,” and “Fire Woman.” Original founders and front men of the band, Ian Astbury and Billy Duffy have been performing together since 1983. Their most recent album, Hidden City, was released in February 2016.
