The BMT Film Fest will screen several feature films and documentaries, short films, animated features and student films. Film contest coordinated by Boomtown, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating Southeast Texas about and increasing their appreciation for film and cinema related arts. The evening will conclude with a screening of “Not Me,” the latest from Lamar University film professor Mahmoud Salimi. The film is Salimi’s eleventh film as a director and has received global accolades since its release.
